Welcome to Sadsbury Township, Lancaster County 

Take a walk down the beautiful Enola Trail, ride your bike on Creek Road, fish in the Octorara Creek, or visit a roadside produce stand sourced from one of the many local orchards. Take a step back into our township’s history. 

Sadsbury Township is home to the Christiana Riot site, where freedom began for many slaves that were fleeing from the south. As you drive down Noble Road, you will see the sixty-foot arch, an example of the Rail Road construction. Visit our Civil War cemeteries located on Spring & Brick Mill Roads. Reclaim your faith at our historic churches, located on Bartville & Quaker Church roads. 

Sadsbury Township is home to a very large Amish Community. You will notice that farms, horse drawn carriages, cows, and schoolhouses dot the Township. Cottage businesses as well as large employers get to call Sadsbury Township their home.  Sadsbury Township has room to grow, and businesses of all sizes are welcome.
